Two years ago, I produced an EP titled “Lunawaii” as a birthday gift to my dear friend at the time, Luna/Eileen. She had been making a new life in Maui and I wanted to make music for her and her journey, kind of a love letter to her.

A year ago, there was a falling out and she ended our seven-year friendship, which devastated me. We had a very loving and romantic friendship, then suddenly it was gone forever.

Out of spite, I took down the EP from all streaming platforms except for Apple; the original release is is still available on Bandcamp.

I ended up taking the original tracks, and mashed them all into one 5+ minute track. I felt this was the most appropriate way to present this music, since it doesn’t seem to hold much value to me anyway.

Plus I felt that Eileen didn’t deserve, nor is she probably interested anymore, in this pipe dream bullshit album that I made for her.
